Split a line into two by using a line on the Workspace layer to designate where to separate. See example of splitting light blue line in image:
Change Active Layer to 'Workspace' layer.
2. Click 'Draw' followed by Line. In order to split, a line must designate line break.
3. Draw Line in place of desired line break. (Double Click to end line)
4. Hold SHIFT and select blue line (line you want to split) followed by red line (workspace line)*
*Note: The line selected first is the line that will be split.
5. Right Click and select 'Split Feature.'
6. Green banner will appear resulting in a successful split. Attributes are copied to both lines.
