Excel files can be uploaded to GIS as long as they have latitude/longitude coordinates. Column names will be converted to field names with associated data, after upload. 

2. Right click on service, then click "Add Layer"

3. On pop up modal, use drop down and change New Layer to Upload.

4. Add an optional name, then click Choose File to upload Excel doc. 

5. Open desired file. Import Type will automatically change to Excel. Then, under Latitude Field and Longitude Field Name, type in Latitude and Longitude: 

6. Click Create. 

7. Green "Layer Added Successfully" will appear. You did it!
