To Draw, set your Active Layer to designated layer for objects to be drawn on. 

Example: If I want to draw objects to the Example Layer, I will click the dropdown and select Example Service->Example Layer. 

The Workspace layer is a sketch pad layer. Anything drawn on that layer will be deleted at the end of your session.

After selecting desired layer to draw on, begin by clicking the 'Draw' dropdown, on the right side of the screen.

Multiple points drawn. Right click and click "Complete Drawing" to finish

A custom shape having 3 or more sides. Double click or right click->Complete Drawing to close shape.
