The Layer Pane toolbar consists of the 'Add Service' tree icon, 'Create Layout' plus icon, and the 'Save Layout' floppy disk icon.

1. Active Layer

Choose what layer to draw on by switching it to 'Active' using the dropdown beneath Active Layer

2. Add a Service

The 'Add a Service' text box beneath active layer is a faster way to add services to the map. Start typing in a service needed and click it to add it onto the layout.*
*Users can only add services they have permission to see

3. Search Layers/Services

Search for layers or services you've added to the map using this text box. Type in desired service or layer, and results will filter in.

Below is the space where all services and layers appear. A Service can contain multiple layers, which are displayed in the sub-bracket. When clicking on a service or layer, a pane will pop-up on the right side of the screen.

*Click the checkbox to display layers.
Green checkmark: visible
No Checkmark: invisible

See "Change the Layer Details" or "Creating, Editing, Analyzing Services" for more information on how to edit layers and services.
